Description: Gen. David H. Petraeus introduces Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard to members of his staff during an Oct. 2 meeting at International Security Assistance Force headquarters that also included Australia's Chief of Defence Gen. Angus Houston and Ambassador to Afghanistan Paul Foley. Petraeus, commander of NATO and ISAF troops, briefed the prime minister on the progress of operations here. He also praised the performance of Australia's military serving alongside U.S. and other allied nations, telling Prime Minister Gillard she can be proud of her troops.
