Description: Shipping channel at the foot of the Don River, Toronto. This view is looking east from the channel's exit into Lake Ontario at Cherry St., the Don's entrance into the channel can just be made out at the "far end". The channel ends about 10 meters behind the camera's point of view. The elevated hiway is the Gardiner Expressway. The channel is to be naturalized as part of the redevelopment of Toronto's waterfront.
