Description: Decentralist Kirkpatrick Sale, center, and futurist Bob Olson, to Sale's immediate left, at a surprise lawn party and "roast" for Mark Satin on the occasion of Satin's acquiring a 10,000th subscriber for his Washington, D.C.-based New Age political newsletter, New Options. Sale had been a member of the Governing Council of the New World Alliance (1979–1983), a U.S. "transformational" political organization Satin had co-founded. Olson had been chairperson of the Alliance.
