Description: The Leavenworth Veterans Memorial was erected in 2013 to honor and remember service members. Memorials consist of Battlefield Crosses, a symbolic cross formed by the placement of the boots, rifle and combat helmet. Memorial plaques at the bottom of each cross, clockwise from left: •"In loving Memory Sgt. Evan S.
