Description: Diamond-square-diamond (DSD) rearrangement. At each vertex a boron atom is bonded along triangular faces to other boron atoms and (not shown) a hydrogen atom sticks outward. A bond joining two triangular faces is broken to form a square, and then a new bond is formed across opposite vertices of the square.
