Description: Picture of Logans Ferry Powder Works Historic District on Barking Road in Plum, Pennsylvania, on November 7, 2009. These powder works were started in 1918, and they produced explosive material. I don't know when it shut down, but the place is in rough shape. The area around there smells of sulfur. These powder works are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
