Description: World War I-era photograph shows Marshal Joseph Joffre and Philadelphia mayor, Thomas B. Smith, visiting Benjamin Franklin's grave on May 9, 1917. Marshal Joffre, the "Victor of the Marne," was visiting Philadelphia as a member of the French High Commission.
