Description: The entrance to Martin Place railway station from Elizabeth Street, the station's recognisable entrance, decorated with a large sign in the Sydney Trains livery, and marked with Transport for New South Wales' "T" signage, denoting the existence of a train station underneath. This April 2017 view depicts the scene around the station on the afternoon of Easter Sunday, with public transport services limited and activity in the city at a minimum. Normally, crowds at Martin Place, a major commercial and business hub in the Sydney CBD, would be somewhat large, though with most places closed for the day, the city's train system can rexlax for a bit.
