Description: The Masonic Hall on West 24th Street between Broadway and Sixth Avenue in the Flatiron District neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City was built in 1905-07 and was designed by Harry P. Knowles. It includes a 1200 seat auditorium, the Grand Lodge Room, and a dozen other Lodge Rooms, all elaborately ornamented. The building was restored in 1986-96 by Felix Chavez, Fine Art Decorating. (Source: Mendelsohn, Touring the Flatiron (1998))
