Description: Mauao (Caught by the dawn) waits there for the people of the night to help him fulfill his desire. Rays of the sun sent back the people of night to the depths of forest and looks like they are never coming back because of the light pollution around it. This images shows how we are losing the beauty of night sky to unshilded artificial lightning. The lights that are supposed to light up the ground is also lighting up the sky. The stars in the sky around towns and cities are losing their battle to artificial lightning, if nothing is done soon, they will lose it and the future generation will never get to see the night sky and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" will be a poem of the past. Despite the light pollution and sea mist (which enhances the light pollution), was pretty impressed to see the milky-way going across and the Magellan clouds (Two small smudges on left top of the image) This is a 21 image panorama, stitched together in Lightroom and processed in Photoshop, processing against the light pollution is really tough.
