Description: East side of the monument to Eugeni d'Ors (1882-1954) at the Paseo del Prado (boulevard) in Madrid (Spain). A work by his son, architect Víctor d'Ors, and artists Cristino Mallo and Frederic Marès. It was inaugurated on July 17th, 1963. On the white flintstone surface, inscriptions summarize D'Ors thought. In front, a little pond, and in it, two bronze sculptures: a female figure (left) calms down a little dragon (right), symbolizing thus Wisdom facing Ignorance.
