Description: Armyansky Lane, Moscow.Former Lazarev institute of Oriental studies, a hub of Armenian diaspora in early XIX century - present-day Embassy of Armenia. Built in many stages in 18th-19th century; facade outline designed in 1814 and completed in 1823. The obelisk of pig iron (Lazarevs owned iron mills in Perm) was raised in 1822.
