Description: (Old Mosque). The Great Mosque was consecrated in January 1414. Its foundations were laid by Suleyman Celebi, then the construction was continued by his brothers Musa Celebi and later Mehmet Celebi. The architect was Haci Alaaddin, his assistant was Omer Bin Ibrahim. The minaret was built during the time of Sultan Murad (1421 – 1448). The women's lodge was built in 1612 by Ramazan aga of Filibeni. ©© Andor Derzsi Elekes, Budapest, 2014.
