Description: The Norfolk Island Kākā (Nestor productus) is an extinct species of large parrot with a prominent beak. Its plumage was olive-brown, with an orange throat and straw-coloured breast. Plate 6 shows "Nestor norfolcensis" and the head of "Nestor productus". The former is nowadays regarded as a synonym of the latter. From the plate in the Bulletin of the Liverpool Museum.
