Description: Wedding dress worn by Margaret Whigham, later the Duchess of Argyll, for her marriage to Charles Sweeny in the Brompton Oratory, London, on 21 February 1933. Designed by Norman Hartnell. Silk satin and tulle, embroidered with glass beads. In the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, catalogue numbers T.836-1974 and T.306-1978.[1]
