Description: The Palace of Assembly located at the Capitol Complex of Chandigarh designed by Le Corbusier, originally meant to serve as the building for Legislative Assembly of bicameral East Punjab state, with two assembly halls to serve as the lower and upper houses of the state’s legislature, currently serving as the common building for the Legislative Assemblies of unicameral Haryana and Punjab state legislatures with both occupying one hall each.
