Description: A portrait painting of four of the daughters and the son of Robert Smith (died 1748), a merchant of the City of London, and his wife Ann. They lived in Thames Street in the parish of St. Garlickhythe, and then moved to Mortlake, Surrey, England, UK. As Robert and Ann Smith are supposed to have married around 1705, the painting may be dated to around 1718.
