Description: The Puerto Princesa Subterranean Park is a protected area of world-wide importance located about 80 km north of Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines. The park has a limestone karst mountain landscape and represents a habitat for biodiversity conservation with a full range of mountain-to-the-sea ecosystems. The flora and fauna of Palawan is quite unique to the island, and has more in common with that of Borneo than with the rest of the Philippines.
