Description: Lockheed Model 10 Electra transport in RAF service. Photograph published in: Aircraft of the Fighting Powers Vol IV Ed: H J Cooper, O G Thetford and D A. Russell Harborough Publishing Co, Leicester, England 1943. - where it was described, apparently erroneously, as the "C-37 Electra". Photographer not identified, so UK Copyright contended to have lapsed 50 years after publication. Picture prepared for Wikipedia by Keith Edkins in April 2004. Additional information: Serial Number W9104 was a Lockheed 10A Electra (Lockheed Serial Number 1122) delivered new with British registration G-AFEB in 1938 impressed into service with the Royal Air Force 12 April 1940, damaged beyond repair 12 October 1941.
