Description: Railway Bridge Old stone railway bridge that carries the Belfast to Dublin railway line over the disused Lagan Canal. Dublin to the left, Belfast to the right. Originally constructed by the Ulster Railway from Belfast on the right to Portadown and Armagh on the left. The Ulster Railway became part of the larger Great Northern Railway (Ireland). The GNR (I) trains would have gone over this bridge enroute to many places such as Londonderry, Strabane, Omagh, Enniskillen, Bundoran, Cavan, Monaghan, Armagh which lasted till the railway closures.
