This Spanish set of the Conquest of Tunis was woven after the original cartoons (now in Vienna, Kunsthistorisches Museum, Sammlungen des allerhöchsten Kaiserhauses) designed by Jan Cornelis Vermeyen & woven by Wilhelm de Pannemaker in 1549-1551.
