Description: Los Ruiles Nature Reserve — located in the easternmost part of the Province of Cauquenes, Maule Region, Chile. It lies in the foothills of the Cordillera de la Costa (Chilean Coast Range). " Doesn't that line of forest look lush and inviting? I'm still not quite sure why I only spent half a day here. This is one of the few places with fully-intact forest along the central coast of Chile. Best part is you'll have the whole place to yourself... because it seems no one else gives a damn about native forest in this obscenely-over-forested region of Chile... Oops, did I say that out loud?"
