Description: The Geva Theatre Center in Rochester, New York. This building, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, was originally constructed in 1868 as a Naval Armory and Convention Hall. It was renovated to house two theaters in 1972. This photograph, with the camera facing northwest, shows the rear of the building, with the NextStage entrance. The main entrance is on the north side of the building. New York State Route 15 northbound runs along the one-way street South Clinton Avenue in the foreground, terminating at the intersection with Woodbury Boulevard on the right edge of the image. Woodbury Boulevard here carries New York State Route 31 eastbound (left to right).
