Description: Rose Weevil (Rhynchites bicolor) sitting on rose leaf - Berkeley Rose Garden. I'm chagrined to admit I took enough shots of this weevil that it finally grew tired of my presence and moved to another leaf. My ratio of unfocused to well-focused bug shots (with the Raynox) is about 2 to 1 so I like to grab a safety or two. Shot with my Panasonic FZ50 and Raynox DCR-250 macro lens, handheld.
