Description: Provost Ross' House, Shiprow. This old roughstone town house was a National Trust property when this photograph was taken. Now it houses the Aberdeen Maritime Museum which now has a modern glass-fronted extension to it. The tower in the right background belongs to the Town House. Shiprow gets its name as it connected the centre of mediaeval Aberdeen to its harbour.
