Description: Severn Bore imminent 8:58am 0 seconds. Photograph taken just as the bore wave was arriving at our location just north of Severn Bore Inn. Based on the wetness of the ground, the previous tide's wave had caused a much bigger splash - others around me commented that this wasn't the biggest bore they'd seen too. Despite being predicted a 5* bore based on tidal height, many other factors come into play in the creation of bore wave including river flow and air pressure. It was certainly impressive none the less!
