Description: The Slovenian National Home at 6409 St. Clair Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States. The organization bought the Italianate Diemer mansion in 1918 and constructed the Slovenian National Home as a wraparound building in 1924 at a cost of $106,240. It contained two auditoriums, several meeting rooms, offices, the Slovenian National Library, and a gymnasium. The building was named a Greater Cleveland Landmark in 1984. The Eddie Kenik annex was constructed in 1994.
