Description: A statue of the legendary Smithtown Bull at the west end of the multiplex with New York State Route 25(left side) and New York State Route 25A(right side) in Smithtown, New York. Local legend has it that after rescuing a Native American Chief's kidnapped daughter, colonial pioneer Richard Smith was told that the Chief would grant title to all of the land Smith could encircle in one day on a bull. This statue is supposed to represent that bull.
