Description: The souls of Pe and Nekhen towing the royal bargue on a relief of Ramesses II's temple in Abydos. In the upper register the jackal-headed (heads missing) souls of Nekhen, in the lower register the falcon-headed souls of Pe (Buto), as the souls of royal precedessors of the pharaoh, helpers in the afterlife. The hieroglyph text between them is: "The words of the souls of Pe and Nehen are said: O, come to the protection of the god, king of Lower- and Upper Egypt, User-Maat-Ra Setep-en-Ra!"
