Description: An interior view of the ruins of Tintern Abbey, looking toward the south window. Ivy mantles the pillars, a feature admired by many visitors, and fallen masonry is stacked on the ground. The tinted print was engraved after a sketch made by Francis Calvert, newly arrived from Ireland in 1815. It is part of a set of four published that year.
