Description: Cropped publicity still for the 1947 film The Sea of Grass, featuring Spencer Tracy. Such images were taken on set during filming, or as part of an organized photo-shoot, by a studio photographer. They were then disseminated to the media and the public to promote the film (see Film still). This is definitely a film still rather than a screenshot: if one views the full image, an exact moment like this never appears in the film and and in the bottom right hand corner, the remnants of a stock code can be seen.
