Description: Bicester Parish Church is dedicated to St Edburg. St. Edburg (or Eadburh or Edburga) was a Saxon and very likely the leader of a religious house - or houses - in Oxfordshire. She may have been the aunt of St. Osgyth, another Oxfordshire Saxon, and may also have been the sister of Wulfere, king of Mercia.
