Outside the north door are portraits of Queen Victoria and Robert Bickersteth Bishop of Ripon, who consecrated the building in 1860. The portraits by the south door are unidentified. All are badly weather-worn. This one is by the north door. It is a portrait of Robert Bickersteth.
