Description: Homestead at The Hollow near Beaudesert, ca. 1898 The Hollow was subdivided from the main property, Tamrookum under the Closer Settlement Acts in the 1870s. At one time owned by G. A. Kingsley and later leased to H. Bruxner and called Jelbyn. The original selector was Lord Henry Phipps, Kingsley purchased it in the 1880s and it was rented to Harry Bruxner some time after 1898, the year of Kingsley's death.
