Image: State Line Archeological District

Description: Fields on the line between Lawrenceburg Township, Dearborn County, Indiana and Whitewater Township, Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. Although non-descript today, this field was once the location of a village of the Fort Ancient culture. Because of its archaeological value, the village site and several associated burial mounds are listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the State Line Archeological District.
