Description: Building known as "Gen. Frederick Von Steuben Headquarters" in Valley Forge National Park. A National Historic Landmark, and on NRHP since November 28, 1972. On Pennsylvania Route 23 near the western edge of the Park and eastern edge of Schuykill Township.. Why "so called" in the title? The Park Service doesn't identify this on it's VF Park Maps anymore, and the location of Steuben's HQ has been controversial, both before and after 1972. It's likely he had several quarters.
