Description: Stingray Point, Mandurah, Western Australia. The Moreton Bay fig (Ficus macrophylla) is thought to have been planted in 1899, the year the Peninsula Hotel was build at the location. The Peninsula Hotel was destroyed by fire in 2003 but the tree and the little jetty remain.
