Description: The very first photograph taken from a surface-operational spacecraft on an asteroid, taken by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) MINERVA-II-1 Rover-1A, one of three landing components of the Hayabusa2 asteroid orbital reconnaissance and sample return mission to 162173 Ryugu. The photograph was taken during the spacecraft's first "hop", following its successful landing minutes earlier.
