Description: LOCATED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GREEN IS THIS GROUP OF LIFE-SIZE STATUES REPRESENTING GEORGE WASHINGTON, ALEXANDER HAMILTON, AND LAFAYETTE AT THE MOMENT IN 1780 WHEN LAFAYETTE INFORMED WASHINGTON THAT FRACE WAS GOING TO SUPPORT THE COLONIES IN THE REVOLUTION. In the background, just right of center, is a historical marker for Arnold's Tavern (demolished), which served as Washington's headquarters, January 6 to May 29, 1777.
