Description: The British Army of the Rhine, 1919-1929 General Herbert Plumer, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief the British Army of the Rhine, taking the salute from the 29th Division entering Cologne by the Hohenzollern Bridge. The column took 4 hours to pass. General Plumer moved to another bridge later, his place being taken by General Claude Jacob. Friday, 13th December, 1918.
