Description: Now converted into a bakery, this building (still called 'The Engine Shed') was the terminus of the Edinburgh-Dalkeith Railway, known as the 'Innocent Railway' because of its unblemished safety record. It housed stationary engines which pulled trains up the long steep incline from Duddingston. It survived within the old St. Leonard's railway depot until that was swept away to create a new residential development.
