Description: The May Company terrazzo at the entrance of the company's flagship department store in downtown Los Angeles, California on 8th Street and Broadway Street. The building, located at 801 South Broadway Street, was originally erected by Alfred F. Rosenheim in 1906 to house Hamburger's Department Store. [1] The May Company moved its headquarters to the building after acquiring Hamburger's in 1923. [2] The photograph was taken with an LG EnV2 mobile phone camera and edited (for sharpness, brightness, color balance and contrast) using ArcSoft PhotoStudio 5.5
