Description: Tievebulliagh The curious pits an undulations at the foot of the scree slope are evidently man-made, but their purpose is uncertain. It has been suggested that they were quarried for flint, but why would Neolithic people go to all the trouble of mining and transporting flint from here when they could pick it up all round the coast for far less effort?
