Description: Tovil is 1km south west or upstream of the Archbishops palace, Maidstone in Kent. The Loose Stream flows through the parish before it is culverted and joins the River Medway. There are many springs in the area. . Upper Crisbrook Mill is now residential with Upper Crisbrook cottages to the left.
