Text Appearing Before Image: trolley. Besides this there are, doubtless, many people who wouldnot care for the entire Boston trip, but would enjoy being landedcomfortably in new trolley centres. There is a fine day of riding tobe taken about each of the cities mentioned, out from Stamford(Rovite 44), out from Bridgeport (Rovites 45 and 46), outfrom New Haven (Routes 46 and 47), out from Hertford(Rovites 47, 48 a^nd 49). All are accessible to those living inthe metropolitan district of New York, as well as to New Engend-ers, by journeying to these cities by water. For those who have traveled frequently over Westchester lines andwould prefer to reach the Connecticut trolley starting point for theEast in a new way this Sound boat for Stamford is to be recom-mended. It leaves Peck Slip (East River) at 2.55 each week-dayafternoon (Saturdays 2.30), and lands at the foot of East Thirty-firststreet for passengers. The fare is 35 cents and the time of the sail isthree hours. (See Bullingers Guide for changes in schedule.) Text Appearing After Image: STREET OP THE TRIPLE ELMS, STRATFORD, CONN. 72 Trolley Exploring. Two boats leave New York for Bridgeport each week day (at11 A.M. and 3 P.M.; time of trip four hours ; fare 50 cents.) Bothstart from Pike Slip (East River) and stop at the foot of East Thirty-first street. There are two distinct water routes to New Haven. The after-noon boat, charging one dollar each way, leaves Clark son street at 4every week-day, and reaches New Haven at 9 oclock. The nightboat starts from the foot of Dey street (North River) at 9 oclock inthe evening every day except Saturday, and takes six hours for thetrip. Fare 75 cents. The Hartford boats fare is $1.50 and it sails from the foot ofPike street each week-day at 5 P. M., being due in Hartford at 7oclock next morning. (See Bullingers Guide for changes in schedule.)
