Description: Tucker House (housing a museum of the Bermuda National Trust, on Water Street and Barber's Alley, St George's Town, St. George's Island, St. George's Parish, Bermuda. Tucker House was the home of Henry Tucker, President of the Council of Bermuda, and occasional acting Governor of Bermuda. United States politician Joseph Rainey operated a barber shop from the property during the United States Civil War, hence the name of Barber's Alley (at right of photograph).
