Description: The visual identity of the United States Agency for International Development, containing the logo at left and the brandmark at right. It has been in use since 2004, when it replaced the earlier version of the agency seal. The previous version was modified in a few ways to make it easier to read and reproduce. The typeface was changed from serif to sans-serif, and the agency name was repositioned. The handshake was redrawn to be gender-neutral and anatomically correct. The brandname and tagline were also added to complete the identity. The tagline FROM THE AMERICAN PEOPLE is translated in localized versions, while the text in the logo and the brandname is not. For more information, see USAID's branding guidelines, in particular the Graphic Standards Manual.
