Description: "Photograph of the passenger platform, promenade and driveway ramp at the Union Station along High Street. This is the third Union Station to be constructed on the site. It was designed by architect Daniel Burnham and opened in 1897. The Beaux Arts style entrance facade was at street level on North High Street. The passenger boarding platforms and depot were at track level. The building was razed on October 22, 1976, but one surviving arch with it's Corinthian columns and classical sculpture was saved and moved to it's present location at Arch Park in the Arena district."
