Description: These are two views of the Van Antwerp Building here in Mobile, AL. This building apparently made the news recently when an engineering firm discovered that one of the columns was bulging, and the terra cotta facade was in danger. This is actually visible in this image if you view it large, and also visible are the comealongs used to hold the facade in place! Image generated from 3 photos taken with my E-P1 17mm lens, then the views corrected for two different types (not including barrel distortion) of views. View on the left is a rectilinear projection with no vertical references defined. View on the right is rectilinear with vertical references, producing what is more commonly referred to as an "architectural view" (or axonometric, or planometric in this case).
