WALBRAN BORN MARCH 23RD 1848 DIED MARCH 31ST 1913 THY WILL BE DONE". The side of the plinth is inscribed "CAPT. JOHN T. WALBRAN OF RIPON YORKSHIRE ENG. BORN MARCH 23RD 1848 DIED MARCH 31ST 1913 AT ANCHOR IN THE HAVEN OF REST".
